The blend

Every drop of Sylvan Mist starts with a base of witch hazel and distilled water, then layers in seven carefully chosen essential oils...each selected for its scent, its skin-friendliness, and its deep roots in botanical tradition.

Cedarwood anchors the blend with a rich, woody warmth - the unmistakable scent of a forest floor after rain.

Lavender softens and balances, adding a floral calm that makes Sylvan Mist as pleasant to wear as any fragrance mist.

Citronella brings a bright, lemony sharpness - the classic outdoor botanical that has been trusted by families for generations.

Bergamot (FCF) lifts the blend with a clean citrus brightness. We use only furanocoumarin-free bergamot, meaning it's safe for sun-exposed skin.

Sylvan Mist is formulated at a gentle 1% essential oil dilution; appropriate for children 2 years and older, as well as adults. Every ingredient is on the EPA's list of minimum-risk botanicals. What you won't find: DEET, synthetic fragrances, parabens, sulfates.

How to use

Shake well - this is a natural formula and the oils will separate between uses. That's not a flaw; it's just chemistry. Spray generously onto exposed skin and clothing before heading outdoors. Reapply every 30 to 60 minutes, or as often as you like - it smells good enough to use as an everyday botanical mist. Avoid eyes and mouth.
